The 5th Allerhand Dispute Resolution, Mediation and Arbitration Summit took place on 7 June 2018 in Cracow, Poland. The event organised by Allerhand Institute in cooperation with Cracow Bar Association hosted many international experts on Alternative Dispute Resolution as the invitation had been accepted by renowned mediation and arbitration practitioners from Austria, Germany, Russia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Czech Republic, and Poland.
The open lecture “Introduction into Dispute Management” was given by Johannes Willheim, a partner in Jones Day.
The program was divided into three parts:
- Arbitration in CEE
- New issues on the field of ADR in CEE
- Development of mediation in CEE
Dr. Martin Svatoš, Ph.D. presented on the following topic: Mediation in Hindsight: Six years of Czech Mediation Law within the third part of the program.
The Allerhand Dispute Resolution, Mediation and Arbitration Summit was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Polish Bar Council, the Polish Association of Judges “Iustitia”, the Polish Association of Business Lawyers, the “Palestra’’ magazine, the “Młoda Palestra” magazine, the Centrum C-Law and is being realized in partnership of Kubas Kos Gałkowski law firm, Bird & Bird law firm and the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of Malopolska.
